Hey Houston! You don’t stop surprising us

We are one month apart from our exciting trip to Houston, Texas, where we will be part of the 2022 International Business Fair hosted by the Colombian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication, and ProColombia, from November 8th to the 10th at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. There, we will be having business one-on-one meetings with international buyers, interested in knowing and purchasing Software and IT Products from Colombian companies, discovering and next future llies and partners. We are very excited and happy for this new adventure in on American.

Without any doubt, this trip has big personal and professional challenges: different cultures, languages, but that what we have been getting ready for. Improving our sales pitch, refining our brand material; services brochure, blog, website; preparing our Business Development and Marketing teams to, as you do when a new friends comes to your house, give them a big warm welcome and a good impresion to our future clients and allies.
This journey doesn’t start on the day we travel, November 6th. It started three years ago when our Board of Directors decided to expand our horizon and start looking for new territories. It has been years full of learning, getting new knowledge and experience around our Customed Software Development and DevOps, potentializing our bilingual talent, adding new members to our teams, and adjusting our mindset to catch up with the highly manding US Market. We have worked with local companies and brokers to gather solid experience in the market.
In our research, we found certain curiosities about Houston, here are some of them: The city is known for it’s numerous nicknames, the most common are “The Hustle Town”, for its commercial sector, which gives the understanding that the city never sleeps.
Another important fact is that Houston is known for being a multifaceted city; its industry goes from Oil and Gas equipment manufacture to Aeronautics, health, and gastronomy, this last one being one of the world’s most diverse.

The New York Times called Houston “One of the most exciting places to eat in the country”. Taking elements from he Mexican food, Louisiana’s Creole Cuisine, and even Vietnamese influence.
In 1969, the year in which “Houston” was the first spoken word from the moon, the Houston Space Center was established as the operational base for outter space expeditions, and also, the training center for American and Non-American astronauts.
Houston is without any doubt a great place to visit, and you know what? Maybe to live.
However, this commercial expedition will not only be to Houston, we will also visit Austin, where we have an amazing agenda with the main Chambers of Commerce and institutions that rocket businesses above and beyond in this region.
Here, at Tech and Solve, we know that is time to look forward and see what 2023 will bring. From know we are preparing ourselves to face the new challenges and opportunities that are awaiting.
